Hola Familia!! Hows it? How was the week out there in the
states? any big news/ anything new?Any news on Argentina? there has bene alot
of Riots lately and we dont know why or anyhting?
This week, and prety much this whole month has been crazy,
like the whole misison has been a full and all over the place. Alot of changes
and big things are happening in the mission and in our zone so all of us
leaders have been going super hard for to get everything ready and to
make sure the mission is progrssing together. These past 2 weeks I have been
doing divisons with my district so Iv been all over the place, from Vilegas, to
San Albero, to the other then to ALdo Bonzi ha ha Its been seriously crazy, way
good though. Thats one thing that like its really hard to describe about
misison life, like really how crazy it is and would be for anyone else but for
missionaries its completely normal ha ha For example This morning we had to
wake up at 4 in the morning to go do divsiosns in A city iv never been to so
that my comanion and this other missionaries comapnion could go to Cpital
together to do their documents. Like i found myslef laughfing on the bus this
morning, atill pitch black, no idea where im at but knowing that everything
will work out fine and that literally nothing will happen. Idk if this makes
sense, but its just super funny how crazy the mission life is .
Besides all that, we have been doing really good, We have
been working hard and seeintg the fruits of it for sure. This past weekend we
were able to finish off well with one of the most spiritual baptism of my life.
Lewis Rojas, a 40 year old husband of a member who literally never wanted
anything to do with the church. We started formt he very basic and little for
little this man has progressed into a spiritual giant. Its funny cause the
baptism was planned for this next weekend but he told us he wanted to do it
sooner so we setr it up for this past saturday. Amazing servise thoguh, his
whole family was there and his wife was seriously so happy. This bishop
baptised him and his daughters absolutlly loved it, their not memebers os thats
next our on list to baptise. But that man has seriously progressed so much,
quiting smoking and drinking all for his famliy and for the Lord. To top it off
Yesterday he received the priesthood as well, right after his confirmation :)
The newest priest in the ward! CAnt wait for you guys to meet him though.
Other than that like always just been going super hard and
having a blast out here. <were super excited for this upcoming weekned as
well , were going to be having a baptismo de fuego ( a huge group baptism for
our zone and stake) I hope all things work out and we can see a few of our
progressings enter into the heling waters :)
I want you guys to know how thankkful I am for you guys and
your support. You guys are seriously the best famly ever. A guyy couldnt ask
for more and thats the truth. Iv been thinking about you guys alot latley and i
really hope you guys are doing good. We say it so much but its seriosuly
throuhg the small and simple things that great things are brought to pass. I
hope you guys remember that and remeber the importanse of the little things
daily such as reading the scripotures and saying our prayers,
things that together can take up 5 to 10 minutes but
will literally help us in every aspect of our lives. Iv seen it in my life and
in ocuntless people here in Argenita. God is here to help us in every chalange
we have , but he requires our constant effort and sacrife. He doesnt ask us
much but the littlest things always help and mean the most!
KNow I Love you guys, seriously you guys mean the world to
me. I hope all is well and that you guys ahve an awesome week.
Aloha,
Elder HAwkey
